Hello, my name is Georgios Giannakopoulos, and I was born on April 1981, in Athens, Greece. Currently, I'm AMInstP, MIET, MIEEE and I was working as an RF Engineer in Cooper Security Ltd, in Mitcheldean in Gloucestershire. I was postgraduate student at the University of Plymouth and attending an M.Sc., degree course in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing in the School of Computing, Communications and Electronics (SoCCE).
I received my B.Sc., (Hons) degree from the University of Hertfordshire, UK in 2002 with an excellent thesis in Computer Science. After that I was received my PGCE in Communication Systems from University of Wales Swansea, UK. I received my B.Eng., (Hons) degree in 2007, with an excellent thesis award in Communications Engineering from the University of Plymouth, UK. Since then, I became a postgraduate student at the same university and I have obtained an M.Sc. degree within Electronics, Communications Engineering and Signal Processing in September 2008.
My MSc thesis had title "Design Multiband Monopole and Microstrip Patch Antennas using High Frequency Structure Simulator". The antennas were designed that can operate at frequency ranges (900 MHz, 1800 MHz) and at 1.3GHz Microstrip Patch Antenna. Then do subsequently build it and compares the theoretical simulation with the experimental simulation using MAPLE software.
Thanks for stopping by:
